Care Connect

Roadmap

What we are building, in order.

Care Connect is a small product built for practices that take call, and this is where it is going. No dates, because a date on a page like this is a guess dressed up. The order is real, and it moves when what we learn from you moves it.

Something missing that your practice needs? Tell us. The list is shaped by exactly that.

01

In development

Specified and being built now. These are the next things a practice will see.

  1. Sign in without a passwordIn review

Passkeys (Touch ID, a phone, a security key) that sign in on their own, and an authenticator app as a second factor with single-use recovery codes. Built, and going through review before release.

  2. Invitations and an audit trailIn review

Invite a teammate by link or email at a role, with a join page that needs no existing account, and a record of who did what in your organization: invitations, joins, role changes, settings and line changes.

  3. On-call calendar

A schedule kept the way you already keep one: an event is a person covering a window, it repeats (every weekday, first Monday of the month, every other weekend), and one occurrence can be swapped without touching the series. Replaces typing every shift in by hand.

  4. What happens when nobody answers

Rules around the on-call answer: ring a backup, fall through to a second person, take a message with a different greeting when nobody is on. Today a line has one fallback number; this is where it grows.

  5. Teammates who never log in

Put the nurse who only ever gets a forwarded call on the roster and on call without giving her a login. A teammate is a person; a seat is a separate decision, and only seats count toward your plan.

  6. Contacts with a memory

A page per contact: their call history with your practice, and the notes your team keeps about them, so the next person to pick up knows who is calling.

02

Up next

Defined and queued behind the work above.

  1. Tasks

Follow-ups with a name, a date and someone responsible, attached to the contact or the line they are about. The voicemail that needs a call back becomes a task instead of a sticky note.

  2. Text messaging

Patients text your practice number like any other number, with no app to install. Conversations thread by contact in one inbox beside voicemail and call history.

  3. Usage dashboard

Calls, minutes, texts and voicemails per month for your organization, so the usage on your invoice is a chart you can read, not a surprise.

03

Exploring

Intended, not yet designed in full. Listed so you know where we are looking.

  1. Video visits

A provider opens a room from the app and sends the patient a link. The patient joins from a browser, having installed nothing and signed in to nowhere.

  2. The app on your phone

Calls already reach a clinician on their own phone with no app in the way. The app itself, for voicemail, messages and the schedule, following them there.

Recently shipped

Live today. The in-app release notes carry the detail.

  • Line pages

Each number has its own page: overview with line health and recent calls, compliance standing (E911 and 10DLC), call experience, routing and shifts.

  • Roles and permissions

Roles you define, each holding the permissions it needs, and a "what each role can do" view on the Team page so nobody has to guess.

  • Try a call before it is real

Simulate or dry-run a call on a line to see who it would ring, and run a whole organization in a sandbox until a carrier is connected.

  • Time zones on every line

The organization has a time zone and a line can override it, so a 4pm shift means 4pm where the line is, whoever is typing it.

The phone system a practice actually needs, at a price it does not have to think about.

As many numbers as you run, the whole team on it, every call reaching the person on call, and a record of what was said. Built for health data from the start, and priced for the practice rather than per seat.
